This anthology issue contains three main stories: "Outlaw of Space" by Frank S. Pepper, featuring Captain Condor, a spaceship pilot exiled to Titan who leads imprisoned prisoners in a rebellion against a ruthless dictator in the year 3000; a war story depicting German soldiers transporting apple barrels down a hillside, with the barrels crashing and rolling toward a railway line with an approaching train; and "Rod of the Trading Post" by R.G. Thomas, in which Rod must rescue his friend Devlin from a flood caused by heavy rains while navigating dangers posed by the Devlin gang. Additionally, the issue features "Boys Who Hit the Headlines," a non-fiction article highlighting historical accounts of young people who performed remarkable deeds, including Admiral Hopson, John Travers Cornwell, Bruce Hobbs, Philip Mickman, Billy Bales, Ronald Hays, and Leslie Peterson.
