Lion Annual 1958 This anthology contains at least two stories: "A Trick to Save the Tribe," in which a monkey leader named Mok uses his intelligence to protect his tribe from human hunters by creating a diversion with a frightened kite-bird, allowing the monkeys to hide safely in an underground chamber; and a medieval adventure featuring a character named Hal who escapes from a castle dungeon by methodically working the bolts from the door hinges, then pursues a forester to discover that Baron De Basseviel has laid a trap to capture the King using aniseed as bait.
