This issue contains two stories featuring Little Al of the Secret Service. "In the Sewers of Paris" follows Little Al and his sidekick Ox as they are called to France to investigate the death of a U.S. Commission member found in the Paris streets, leading them through the sewers while battling dangerous criminals. "The Keys to Crime" involves Johnny Devine, a Secret Service agent who infiltrates a counterfeiting ring operating out of the Shearer Circus by posing as a cashier; after being discovered and beaten, Johnny's efforts help expose the criminals, and the judge dismisses the case against the Secret Service's witnesses while charging Larry's gang with murder and attempted murder.
