Little Eva #11

The issue contains multiple Little Eva stories. In one tale, two boys follow a suspicious man snooping around, discovering he's a member of a spy ring when he slips a note to a cigar store clerk. In another story, Eva tricks other children into helping her carry library books by offering ice cream, then abandons them to enjoy the shade and build a private tent instead. In "Too Many Dogs," Eva finds a group of orphaned, hungry stray dogs and attempts various schemes to make them leave her yard, including throwing a bone and using a hose, but ultimately cannot convince them to go.
