Little Eva #2

The issue contains two Little Eva stories. In the first, Eva becomes infatuated with a boy named Nipper and writes his name everywhere, causing Nipper to fear his gang will see it. When two police officers arrive after Nipper crosses out her signs, Eva sacrifices her dolls to help him pay a fine, but the officers reward them with free dolls instead; they then take a bus ride where the bus drivers give them change in dimes rather than dolls. In the second story, "Bubble-Gum Blowout," Eva decides to enter Mr. Pepper's bubble-gum contest after learning the prize goes to whoever blows the biggest bubble, borrowing gum from a boy and ultimately sharing the prize with him.
