Little Miss Sunbeam encounters counterfeit money and an FBI agent investigating its distribution in her neighborhood, leading to complications at a local store. In a separate adventure, Little Miss Sunbeam attends a performance of "Goldilocks" with talking bears that goes awry when the show poster is stolen, causing conflict with the theater troupe. On a third adventure, Little Miss Sunbeam and her parents visit an island that belonged to her grandfather, where they encounter armed men who claim ownership of the property and dispute the family's inheritance rights to treasure allegedly left behind by Spanish colonial grants.
