Lone Eagle #3 A cavalry deserter named Delice Browder is hunted down and faces court-martial sentencing to twenty years in a government prison back East for striking an officer. On the night his guard makes his call, Lone Eagle and his tribe intercept Browder during his escape, and Lone Eagle agrees to help him reach safety at a water hole. However, Bear Fang and his warriors, opposed to aiding the white man, set an ambush at the water hole with intentions to kill both Browder and Lone Eagle, leading to a violent confrontation as Lone Eagle must fight his own people to save the deserter's life.
