A man named Brad rents a cabin and begins dating a woman named Amy one night. Brad confesses his love to Amy during a romantic boat ride beneath the moon, and Amy reveals she has been wanting to tell him something important. Later, at a bus station, Brad meets a woman named Phyllis and begins a new relationship with her, eventually proposing to Phyllis as well. The story concludes with Phyllis accepting Brad's proposal, suggesting a more successful romantic outcome than his previous relationship with Amy.
