This anthology issue contains three adventure stories. "Night Hawk Rides the War-Trail" features a Native American protagonist who encounters starvation and Mohawk raiders in hostile territory. "Long Bow" by Capt. Stuart Kerrigan follows the titular Blackfoot boy as he and his companion escape bandits and face a leopard attacking a bobcat by a river. The third story involves hunters scouting for food and clothing who receive a warning from an old squaw's prophecy about human wolves and wind shifts, leading them to alert Chief Red Eagle's crow war-party to an impending threat to their people.
