Long Bow #8
This anthology issue contains three stories featuring Long Bow and Native American adventures. "Slaves of the Senecas" depicts a conflict during the French and English war, where a Seneca chief named Pequoia brings news to Mohawk brothers that French forces are marching from the north to conquer the region, and a wrestling match is arranged between young warriors Kitsipon and Ingrona to settle a dispute. "Sun Magic" shows the Blackfoot tribes gathering for their sacred Sun Dance ceremony while warriors prepare for a Flathead raiding party attack on their village, with Long Bow and others racing to warn the tribe in time to defend their horses and people.
