Long John Silver & the Pirates #31

Long John Silver encounters a female pirate captain at sea after two months of fruitless hunting for prizes. Silver's crew spots and pursues the ship, catching up to it off Cuba. Silver discovers the captain is a woman and initially dismisses her as a threat, but she proves capable of fighting as well as any man. After a naval battle, the female captain's ship is captured, and Silver learns she has stolen the king's tax money; she asks for his help to recover the stolen funds, which leads to further complications involving the king's messenger and a robbery investigation by the authorities.
