Love at First Sight #23

An anthology featuring multiple romantic stories, including one about a young man who falls in love at first sight with a woman he meets at a soda fountain when ordering a malted milk, and later reunites with her after working at soda fountains across the country. Another story involves a man named Derek Yates filming a forest fire scene with an actress named Janet, who must ride a horse through burning trees; the actress becomes unconscious from smoke, and Derek is torn between his duty to the production and his love for her. A third story follows a man who buys an autographed photograph of actress Paul Duane from a store clerk named Edwina Thomas, later discovering she is the girl in the picture and attempting to win her heart.
