Love Diary #29 The issue contains two stories. In "Not the Marrying Kind," a woman named Helen rejects marriage proposals from her boyfriend Craig because she fears the loss of independence that comes with married life, but after he leaves town, she realizes her love for him and seeks him out to reconcile and accept his proposal. In a second story, a woman named Elaine meets a foreman named Marty Shannon at a construction site and becomes involved in his romantic life, ultimately helping resolve his relationship troubles.
