Love Experiences #23

Sue and Roger are a couple who share a love of collecting exotic plants, with Roger having brought back a rare plant specimen called "Flix" from one of his expeditions. When Curt enters their lives, Sue becomes infatuated with him, and Roger leaves town for two weeks to give her space, believing their relationship will strengthen in his absence. However, Sue's feelings for Curt deepen, and she agrees to marry him, leaving Roger heartbroken when he discovers her betrayal upon his return. The story concludes with Steve, a private nurse, finding himself in a similar romantic predicament when he must care for his former love Serena, who is injured and engaged to another man, forcing him to confront his own unresolved feelings.
