Love Letters #41 This issue contains two main stories. "Sweetheart by Proxy" follows a man who falls in love with a woman named Irene through her love letters, only to discover that the letters were actually written by her friend Andrea, who has been secretly in love with him all along. In the second story, a young woman named Peggy sacrifices her own happiness by giving up her boyfriend Norm to be with Andrea, a woman she meets during a road trip to Cactus Canyon; however, the narrative reveals Peggy's true motivation—she fell in love with Andy, the man who helped Andrea when her car broke down. The final story features Dwight and Miss Bennet, a couple whose relationship faces scrutiny from her disapproving employer Dean Earl Hopkins, but they ultimately decide to marry despite the obstacles, with Dwight's dedication to his teaching career and their shared love overcoming the objections.
