Lovelorn #25 (May 1952) This issue contains two romance stories. "Marriage vs. Career" follows Lucy, who abandons her modeling job to marry Kirk and become a housewife, only to become frustrated with domestic duties when dinner burns and she cuts her finger opening a can. After Lucy demonstrates her incompetence in the kitchen, Kirk persuades her to give up her career aspirations and accept homemaking as her true calling. In a second story, a teenage girl named Helen is caught kissing a boy by her friends during a game, leading to humiliation when her father discovers the incident and forces her to stand before the neighborhood children to be lectured on proper behavior and respect.
