Lovelorn #49 This issue contains the story "The Easy Way!" in which Polly, a commercial photography student, falls in love with her classmate Dan Rollins while they work together on a photography course assignment. After Dan kisses her and they make plans to marry once they complete their course, Polly learns that Dan's mysterious fiancée is actually Cora Warren, a woman from his past whom he asked to look after while he was in military service. When Cora arrives and Polly discovers the truth, she becomes distraught and runs away into the mountains, followed by Johnny, a man who has feelings for her. Realizing her selfishness in wanting Dan to abandon his obligations, Polly reconciles with her feelings and accepts Johnny's companionship as they navigate the dangerous mountain terrain together.
