"Lovers!" is an anthology magazine of romantic stories. The lead feature, "Princess for a Night" by John Clemons, follows a young woman who encounters Fred at a dance and becomes romantically involved with him, only to later meet Wallace Devens, a wealthy man whose sophistication and means appeal to her aspirations. As her romance with Wallace progresses through an Armory dance and subsequent dates, she finds herself torn between the two men until Wallace proposes, leading her to choose marriage to him over her previous attachment to Fred.
