Lucky Comics #1 is an anthology featuring multiple characters and stories. "Dan Hastings: The Return of Dr. Strange" follows Dan as he battles Dr. Strange, a mad scientist whose body has been transformed into a winged creature with a bird's head and tusks, after Strange uses an acid gun and serum to transform himself. "Music Soothes the Savage Beast" depicts Sergeant Quinn and Scoop Daily entertaining Arab tribes with harmonica and jazz music to keep them loyal to the British Empire during wartime negotiations, with the music eventually winning over even hostile tribal leaders.
