Lucky Comics #5

Lucky takes a photograph that captures ghostly apparitions fleeing a haunted location, and later discovers a woman named Valerie who is the missing heiress. After a series of supernatural encounters involving a character named Helene and a sinking quicksand-like pit, Lucky helps Valerie escape. The story culminates when Lord Fowler, revealed to be responsible for a murder connected to an ancient statue and figure of Anubis, dies from a poisonous bite while attempting to cover up his crimes, with his death attributed to the curse of the statue itself.
