Lucky Duck #6
This anthology issue contains two main stories: "Willie" depicts a photographer haggling with a street vendor over portrait prices, ultimately agreeing to a deal before being comically ejected by the vendor's invention; "Bull Dozer in 'Grime Doesn't Pay'" follows an inventor who creates a self-rocking hammock from a malted-milk machine, which malfunctions and sends him flying, after which he is conscripted into housework by a woman who finds him. The issue also includes instructional content from the Washington School of Art advertising cartooning and drawing courses, and a story featuring Lucky Duck encountering Dame Fortune and becoming entangled in a magical sequence involving water and treasure before mysteriously drowning and being rescued.
