Marmaduke Mouse #16

The issue contains two main stories. In the first, Marmaduke Mouse encounters a small mouse named Luke who has been bullied and beaten by a larger bully named Rollo. When Rollo challenges Marmaduke to a race, Marmaduke defeats him through a combination of cunning and physical prowess, ultimately getting the better of the bully in multiple encounters. In the second story, "Marmaduke Mouse and King Louie," King Louie faces a financial crisis when a snake steals his treasury vest pocket containing all the kingdom's cash, leaving him bankrupt and unable to collect taxes, forcing him to seek a solution to his monetary troubles.
