Marmaduke Mouse #27

This is an anthology issue featuring three stories. In the main Marmaduke Mouse story, King Louie and his female companion Queenie discover a new world waiting to be discovered, leading to romantic complications when Louie becomes infatuated with a queen character and must resort to using a safety pin as a weapon in a confrontation. A second Marmaduke story shows Louie requesting a shower bath during dry weather, leading to comedic misunderstandings when a rain shower provides an unexpected soaking instead, after which Louie offers his prized possession in exchange for a sprinkle to water the kingdom's dying roses. The issue also includes stories featuring Goofy Goose and Twisted Tales as advertised on the cover.
