Marmaduke Mouse #49
Marmaduke Mouse #49 The issue contains two stories. In the first, Marmaduke and an unnamed antagonist use TNT to blast their way out of a trapped location; after the explosion, Marmaduke discovers the sound was actually a cricket hiding in a piece of cement, and the other character thanks him for his neighborly help before departing. Later, Marmaduke struggles to carry a large musical instrument (possibly a cello) through a revolving door, which he eventually manages to retrieve despite the object's considerable weight. In "Sleepy Time Pal," Bruno Bruin hasn't slept in weeks and asks Marmaduke for help; Marmaduke promises to sing him a lullaby to cure his insomnia.
