Marmaduke Mouse #52

Marmaduke Mouse faces two adventures in this issue: first, he attempts to help his friend Egbert ride a bicycle by providing him with a scooter instead, but the plan backfires when the scooter's wheel comes loose and sends Egbert flying. In the second story, Uncle Giddy invites Marmaduke on a camping trip to the mountains, where they must gather supplies and camping equipment; however, Marmaduke grows exhausted before they even begin, leading Uncle Giddy to suggest he become a housekeeper instead, prompting Miss Tayk (a schoolteacher) to invite them both to dinner.
