Masked Raider #29

"The Beautiful Lure" features Polly Garrett, the sheriff's daughter, who dislikes being called by her formal name Angela Crane and is uncomfortable with her past conquest of Les Wilcox. When Mr. Wilcox writes to the Masked Raider asking if he knows a man who can get him to his brother in the Badlands, Polly learns that Les wants to contact her brother and decides to bait a trap to draw out the Raider. The Masked Raider, along with his horse White Star and the Golden Eagle (Talon), pursues an outlaw gang led by the Catamount Kid through rocky terrain, discovering a thorn caught in White Star's hoof that reveals the outlaws' location. The Raider and his allies intercept the gang's plan to rob the bank and murder Sheriff Garrett and his daughter, resulting in a confrontation where the Raider defeats the outlaws and saves Polly from danger.
