This anthology issue contains three western stories. "The Range Hog" follows Maverick Marshal as he confronts a Chinese cook skilled with a gun, engaging in a shootout at a bunkhouse. "Apache" features Vittoro, a Native American soldier whose brave actions during a cavalry battle against attackers win over the townspeople's hatred, leading to mutual understanding and brotherhood. "The Outlaw Rodeo" depicts a marshal pursuing the outlaw Lopez, who escapes to Sonora; the marshal tracks him through difficult terrain with fresh horses, ultimately capturing Lopez despite the outlaw's attempts to elude the posse.
