Meet Merton #1

Merton is a boy of exceptional character and virtue who is named after a red rose, a detail his parents are desperate to keep secret. When he accidentally consumes a five-pound box of candy, his father Mr. Billingsley becomes violently ill, leading Merton to assist in various mishaps including getting stuck in a ventilator shaft while trying to help. The story follows Merton's well-intentioned but chaotic attempts to help those around him, resulting in comedic complications for the adults in his life.
