Meet Merton #9

Merton becomes involved in a series of comedic misadventures: he helps Jo Ann fix up a jeep by naming it after a girl named Marcia, leading to complications when the real Marcia arrives; later, Merton receives a romantic note signed by Marcia that turns out to be only candy, causing his father to sneeze repeatedly at the word "rose"; finally, Merton gets trapped in a building's ventilation shaft and must be rescued by Mr. Billingsley and a janitor after nearly freezing to death. The issue is a collection of slapstick gag stories centered on Merton's misfortunes and the chaos that ensues around him.
