Motion Picture Comics UK #56

A professor and his colleague investigate a mysterious diving bell-like object found on the moors, which turns out to be a robot ray sent by inhabitants of Planet X. The man from Planet X, seeking to conquer Earth, uses the robot to capture a woman named Enid and control zombie-like beings to do his bidding. The professor and his ally must stop the alien invader and rescue Enid before Planet X's forces take over the world, ultimately using a heliograph signal to call for help from a passing freighter.
