Movie Love #8

This anthology issue features two main stories adapted from Hollywood films. "Quebec" stars Corinne Calvert in a tale set during a military conflict where a man professes his love for a woman, but she receives news that soldiers have been defeated and turned to flee, leading to dramatic confrontations involving a mysterious woman and matters of loyalty and duty in Quebec. The second story, illustrated with scenes from a colonial-era narrative, depicts a Captain involved in a fort where villainous Judge Wilcox holds soldiers unjustly imprisoned; the Captain must navigate treaty violations and legal complaints to secure their release while confronting the Judge's authority and preparing his people for potential conflict.
