"The Winning of Wilma" follows Albert, who must choose between his old flame Wilma and a new romantic interest named Frank Harvey. After receiving a telegram from Frank proposing to meet in New York, Albert struggles with his conflicting feelings and decides to give Frank his answer. At the Fall Hop, Albert encounters Janet, who pursues him directly and persuades him to dance with her, but when she discovers his heart belongs to someone else, she ultimately encourages him to follow his own heart. Albert realizes he wants Wilma and chooses her over the other romantic prospects.
