This issue contains two stories. The first story depicts a woman who nearly drowns in a flood while separated from her husband Jed; she survives and is rescued, and after nearly losing her life, the couple is reunited and reconcile their differences. The second story, "Kisses in Hiding," involves a narrator who disapproves of her sister Jeannie's relationship with a mechanic named Stan and sets a bad example by flirting with him, but ultimately the narrator regrets her actions as Jeannie and Stan's love proves genuine and they plan to marry.
