An anthology of romantic stories presented as true tales. The first story follows a woman named Wendy whose husband Bob returns home after a long absence, only for their reunion to be disrupted by the arrival of another man, leading to marital conflict and the revelation that their marriage was doomed. The second story, featured as the main selection, centers on Margaret, who is set on revenge against Dick for rejecting her, but after encountering Dick with his new love interest Sherry at a hotel, Margaret decides to pursue Dick herself through seduction, resulting in escalating romantic complications and drama. A third story involves a narrator and her friend Danny visiting an elderly man, Doc Oliver, at his home, where Danny appears eager to leave and the narrator discovers Danny's anxiety stems from his desire to get her away from the doctor's company.
