This anthology issue contains at least two stories: "If You Believe!" depicts Dr. Scott recounting a condensed history of the twentieth century's most bizarre and inexplicable events to a listener, touching on unexplained phenomena and terror that defied rational explanation. "Mardo the Martian Magician" follows Ethel Haft and her friends Jim and Peter as they recruit an elderly amateur magician named Mardo to perform magic tricks at a charity benefit for orphans' homes, with the old man arriving via a magical carpet while aliens hover above the city in illuminated spacecraft observing the proceedings.
