This issue is an anthology containing at least two stories. The opening story involves an alien leader named Kranitz who comes to Earth under constant surveillance, warning of imminent war and recruiting a human to help initiate hostilities by building nuclear weapons and instigating conflict among Earth's nations. "Buried Alive," the second story, follows Dr. John Boyle and Professor Roger Hollander as they investigate a mystic named Nagash Deshbindi who claims to perform the "Buried Alive" feat in the Orient; the story explores the scientific possibility of humans surviving in a sealed, oxygen-deprived state, with the investigation revealing aliens who plan to use a human as their guide to save their race and future.
