This is an anthology issue containing multiple science fiction and supernatural stories. The lead story, "Exploration of Sector 6 to Find Inhabitable Planet," follows Captain Adam Chase of the E.S.P. Exploratory Space Patrol as he discovers the planet Mentalla II, which possesses oxygen, gravity, and terrain similar to Earth, though he finds no signs of life beyond vegetation. A second story, "Weird Music," depicts jazz musician Clyde Bellin, whose dreams of playing smoky clubs mysteriously come true when he hears an otherworldly sound. A third story, "There Was a Man," features a ruthless, world-hating villain who discovers atomic fission secrets, enslaves nations, and becomes a threat to global powers, eventually threatening New York and Moscow with his rocket technology.
