"Journey Through Time" follows scientists in the year 1999 who have successfully developed a time machine capable of sending a man back through time. When they travel back centuries, they encounter an alien race known as the Brain People from the planet Thought, who reveal themselves to be vastly superior in mental capacity to humans and warn that they intend to take over Earth. The Brain People explain that their knowledge is so advanced that each of their individual minds equals the computational power of Earth's electronic computers, and they give the humans a demonstration of their capabilities via a device called a Sonocab that operates on radio waves.
