This anthology issue contains at least three stories: "Demon in Disguise," in which a shapeshifting demon posing as a man named Joe reveals its true nature and ability to assume any form, including that of a police officer; "Blood Oath," in which two criminal brothers, Tim Master and Ferd Thorpe, swear a blood oath in a tropical port and years later attempt to escape their pursuer by scratching an idol in a temple, only to be hunted by sea goblins; and "One Was Human," featuring Pamela and a running bear encountered on a beach, with the bear revealed to be one of the sea goblins that warns of danger and seeks to prevent harm to humans.
