The issue features two main stories. The second story, presented in prose form, tells of Pedro Salazar, a young man from a garrison in New Spain who performs a daring rescue mission by swimming to an enemy pirate ship, ultimately engaging in a sword duel with the notorious pirate Deschard and emerging victorious, earning recognition as a hero.
