The Barker investigates a chain of strange events that leads to the discovery of a missing link. Elsewhere, a criminal scheme involving a banker named Ambers and extortion notes is exposed when the Whistler intervenes, with police and criminal elements converging on the location as the Whistler prepares to reveal his identity and capture the culprits.
