New Heroic Comics #46

This anthology presents stories of heroic individuals performing daring rescues in dangerous circumstances. One narrative follows Ed, who uses Red Cross first aid training to rescue injured airmen from a crashed plane, then rushes to his motor skiff to reach additional survivors in the water before it becomes too dark. Another story depicts a runaway train with 400 passengers aboard that goes out of control and speeds toward a curve, with crew members attempting to jump the tracks to prevent disaster. A third tale involves Bruce and others in a small sailboat caught in rough seas; when the boat capsizes, Bruce swims for help while others cling to the overturned vessel, and he returns with rescue assistance just as the situation becomes dire.
