Another narrative follows John Flynn, who heroically rescues a man caught in rough waters, bringing him to safety and administering first aid before medical personnel arrive, for which Flynn receives a meritorious service certificate from the Consolidated Edison Company of New York. A third story shows a watchman foiling a truck heist at a storage garage when he discovers an impostor attempting to steal a seventy-thousand-dollar truck; the thief shoots at the watchman but is ultimately captured by police.
