This anthology issue contains at least two romance stories: "Small Talk," which follows a young woman named Ellen as she hosts weekend guests and struggles with her responsibilities as a hostess, ultimately learning that careful planning is essential; and "My Silent Heart," in which a woman named Dusty falls for a man named Larry at the beach, but their relationship is threatened when she believes he is ignoring her, leading her to nearly sacrifice their love during a dangerous cyclone before realizing her feelings are reciprocated and choosing him over her protective but controlling brother.
