NoMan #1 This issue contains two stories featuring NoMan, a T.H.U.N.D.E.R. agent. In "Trapped in the Past," NoMan confronts an evil scientist and a red-headed woman who threaten to destroy New York City with a colossal machine that creates extreme temperatures. NoMan battles the villain's associates but must race against time to stop the destructive plan. In "The Good Subterranean," NoMan discovers an underground civilization beneath the earth where a benevolent race of green beings exists. He learns that this peaceful subterranean people face a threat and must protect them from a malevolent force, ultimately using a rocket railway to lead the good subterraneans to safety while escaping to New York.
