Nyoka the Jungle Girl #17

Nyoka rescues two kidnapped children from villains in the jungle. A man named Peter is revealed to be her elephant, and after Peter explains how he freed the children from their captors, Nyoka pursues the "bad men" through the jungle with Peter's help, using the elephant to chase them away.
