Nyoka the Jungle Girl #18

The main story, "Nyoka and the Emperor of the Jungles," follows Nyoka as she encounters a dangerous villain named Van Morte who has captured her. Clark of the F.B.I. witnesses Van Morte's plot and attempts a rescue by parachuting from a plane, but becomes entangled in vines. Van Morte threatens to use his knife on Nyoka if Clark doesn't comply, leading to a confrontation in the jungle. Mr. Cummings volunteers to help guide a hunting expedition into the jungle, claiming to be looking for animals but secretly seeking an excuse to return to the jungles and pursue his own agenda.
