Nyoka the Jungle Girl #27

Nyoka and a man named Larry work together to capture jungle animals and transport them back to the Hitchcock Zoo using a specially hired truck and trailer. When Larry goes to town to arrange details with a trading post owner, Nyoka discovers that Larry has been murdered by a man named Marc Hiervant, who steals the jeweled "Scorn Heap" artifact. Nyoka pursues Marc through the jungle, and after a series of violent encounters involving arrows and tom-toms, Marc is ultimately killed by the pygmies he had wronged, with the Scorn Heap recovered. The issue also includes two backup stories: "Egbert the Explorer" depicting Egbert's encounter with a tiger, and "Adventures of Nip & Tuck" featuring two characters searching for buried treasure in a cave.
