Nyoka the Jungle Girl #35

In "Jungle Wings," a helicopter crash at a remote jungle station leaves explorers Paul Veren and Mario in the hands of the brutal Aiken and Burke, who hold them captive and force them to transfer gasoline supplies. Paul and Mario manage to escape into the jungle, where they encounter a river filled with deadly piranhas and must navigate the treacherous terrain. The story continues with Nyoka discovering petrified animals in the jungle, including a lion, and becomes intent on saving her companions Ajax and Crandall from the strange fate that has befallen the other creatures in this mysterious region.
