Nyoka the Jungle Girl #38

Nyoka the Jungle Girl #38 "The Tragic Hunt" follows Nyoka as she becomes trapped in a snake pit while being hunted by a treacherous guide. After escaping with the guide's help, Nyoka encounters penguin characters who nearly thwart her rescue efforts. Later, Nyoka arrives at a trading post village and learns of three men searching for her in the jungle, apparently carrying a treasure chest, leading her to suspect she may be walking into a death trap set by villains seeking a treasure at a volcanic location.
